Day 65: Figure out the self-affirmations that fire you up.
A 2013 study published in the journal PLOS ONE found that self-affirmation—the process of identifying and focusing on our most important values—can boost problem-solving skills. To help you stay on track despite any future obstacles, take a moment to land on the affirmations that resonate most with you—and repeat them regularly. Here are a few to try:
“I am rooted and powerful.”
“I have so much love in my life.”
“I have energy to serve others.”
Find your mantra & live it! Use it in your daily yoga to set your intentions for the day. Write in on a post it or find some motivational online and print it out. Post these affirmations on your bathroom mirror, the walls of your bedroom, office, kitchen, in your car, in your planner, or even on your cell phone. Find inspirational backgrounds and set alarms throughout the day to fire yourself up and remind you to be mindful.
